The Best Mother’s Day Gift

Happy Mother’s Day to this special mom! We are so thankful she will get to hold her baby on this Mother’s Day instead of living with regrets.

THIS is why it’s important to be on the sidewalks. Why don’t you join us and make a difference?

A recent message to ProlifeTuscaloosa

They could be best friends…

From the sidewalks outside of Tuscaloosa’s abortion business…

Just as our prayer service ended yesterday, a woman walked out of West Alabama Women’s Center and went to her car.  She got a baby from the front seat and put him in the backseat. I told her that having children close together makes them best friends. She looked up intently at me from across the parking lot.   I offered her a blessing bag and she got into the car and they drove over to me.

I learned that the baby in the backseat was indeed a very beautiful, curly headed, five month old baby boy.  The husband and wife in the car took the blessing bag, information, & fetal model. The mother said “It’s so hard being a mother.” The father said, “I help out…”  She said she wasn’t there for an abortion and I said ,”why were you in there?”  No answer.

This Mother’s Day weekend we ask you to pray for this family and that this 5 month old will one day get to meet his brother or sister.

Local baby breaks world record

The most premature infant in world to survive was born less than an hour away from Alabama’s busiest abortion business in Tuscaloosa. This baby set a Guinness World Record by being born at 21 weeks 1 day old on July 5, 2020.

Curtis’ mother, Michelle Butler of Eutaw, Alabama, lives just 30 minutes from West Alabama Women’s Center where babies YOUNGER than Curtis are killed. Curtis was born at 21 weeks 1 day old. West Alabama Women’s Center will kill babies up to 21 weeks 6 days old.

We applaud Curtis’ mother for fighting for the life of her baby, even against the odds. Curtis PROVES that babies his age CAN survive if given a chance!

A blue bow and a Cross

We recently had the opportunity to talk to Miss D, a young nursing student who was considering an abortion.  As we talked, our prolife advocate handed her a Blessing bag with a blue bow, as well as a cross wrapped with a blue wire (that a prolife jeweler in Ohio had made).  She told Miss D, I think you are going to have a boy!  Miss D started crying because she agreed and had already picked out a boy’s name.

God is a God of details.  He purposed for a bag with a blue bow to be there that day.   For an Ohio jeweler to make a cross wrapped in a blue wire then make it’s way to Alabama.  For a prolife advocate to be on the sidewalk at that moment to talk to Miss D to encourage her to choose LIFE for her child.

God showed he cared for Miss D by giving her some much needed “blue” gifts that day.

God often shows his love to us through the little things in life, like blue bows.

A Family Chose Life!

A father called one of our Tuscaloosa prolife advocates recently to tell him that they had talked outside of West Alabama Women’s Center a while back. He said his 17 year old daughter is now 8 months pregnant and they wanted to know about adoption services. They chose life! Thanks be to God! Please continue to pray for the unborn babies and for the parents who are considering abortion.

Incredible Story from the Sidewalk!

Last week, a very exciting thing happened outside of West Alabama Women’s Center, Tuscaloosa’s abortion site. God arranged for two special people to meet. Please read, and be inspired, by this incredible story.

A young lady named Jalissa, and her toddler daughter, drove over from Mississippi to bring a friend who was considering abortion to Choices Pregnancy Center where she could receive help for her unplanned pregnancy. That day, several sidewalk advocates were offering help outside of West Alabama Women’s Center. On a whim, Jalissa came over from Choices to talk with them, where she soon met (by God’s wonderful providence), her own lifesaver, Dr. Neil Sullivan.

An Encouraging Letter From a Mother to Prolife Advocates

This letter was sent to one of Tuscaloosa’s prolife advocates from a mother in Moundville, Alabama.

About 12 years ago I found out I was pregnant. I had just been through a divorce and I was NOT married. However, I made some bad choices and unfortunately was not thinking clearly. The day I found out [I was pregnant], I was scared and alone (or I thought I was).

2-3 weeks afterwards, I called and made an appointment to have an abortion with Dr. Payne, because I thought this would be in everybody’s best interest in the family. I told NO ONE.
