In 2022, Alabama Legislature passed a resolution that January 22 should be recognized as the Day of Tears in Alabama. This calls for private citizens in Alabama to lower their flags on January 22, in honor and remembrance of the over 65 million innocents who have lost their lives to abortion since 1973.
