Exciting Week Recap

As you all know, last Friday brought the incredible news that the US Supreme Court officially overturned Roe v. Wade.
Below we’ve included pertinent information regarding Tuscaloosa, Alabama, & the surrounding states and where things now stand.

It was great to get a report from those on the sidewalk at West Alabama Women’s Center as soon as the decision was announced!
While this prayer team was praying one of our prolife advocates was praying with a father from TN who brought his 24 year old daughter for the first consultation for an abortion.  When that was done a lady pulled over to the shoulder of the road and yelled out through the window that Roe had been overturned.  The Pro Lifers could not believe it.  Five minutes later the abortuary emptied out and they all drove off.  HOW IS THAT FOR AN ENDING!  AFTER THESE DECADES!

Soon thereafter Alabama Attorney General issued a press release announcing that abortion in Alabama was now illegal.

Here is what WAWC operations director, Robin Marty, had to say:

Changes and Opportunities

As you have probably realized, many people in the mainstream media do not like Prolife perspectives. In the last couple of years, it seems that Prolife Tuscaloosa has also experienced this bias on our Facebook page.  At one time, we could expect a Facebook post to possibly reach up to 20,000 people.

Then it stopped.

Now we reach a (very) tiny fraction of that 20,000, even if a post has many “shares” and “likes”.  Some of our videos have not been “approved” by Facebook and we have even tried paying to “boost” some of our posts and they have been denied. Last year, we jumped through some major hoops to make sure we were properly “registered” by Facebook’s definitions & standards,  but even after that was done, evidently it just doesn’t matter because nothing has changed as far as how many people our posts are reaching.

No, we cannot prove this, nor do we have the knowledge and savviness to do so, but we suspect it based on the data and Facebook’s reputation. Facebook has admitted to being biased against Prolife organizations. Live Action has especially brought this to light and we are aware of others who Facebook has also blocked.

That said, we’ve shifted gears. We are branching out & trying different ways to reach more people. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

WE HAVE 6 WAYS FOR YOU TO ENGAGE AND STAY INFORMED:

Woman dies after abortion at Alabama’s most prolific abortion business

The West Alabama Women’s Center is estimated to have killed over 80,000 preborn babies in its decades of operation, and recently, an abortion client died after a procedure there. According to Operation Rescue and CEC for Life, the botched abortion which caused the woman’s death was committed on May 7, 2020. Witnesses saw the woman, escorted by another person, leaving the facility in clear distress.

The woman was pale and could barely walk even just a few feet to a vehicle waiting for her. Despite these clear signs of an injury, it appears that a 911 call was not made by anyone at the facility. The woman was taken to Druid City Hospital, where facility staffers confirmed she passed away.
